A multi purpose caravan, perfect for exploring the great outdoors and discovering new adventures. Despite its uncluttered design, the multifunctional caravan has been developed to offer you the ultimate in comfort and functionality on your off-road adventures. The fold-down bed with real 1.4m x 2m mattress ensures a good night’s sleep. Generous headroom in the interior and good ventilation options are further comfort features. Depending on the weather or your preferences, the kitchen can be used both indoors and outdoors.
Stealth camping and wild places
When folded up, the multifunctional caravan is easy to manoeuvre even in tight spaces and on narrow paths. Where large caravans don’t stand a chance, the rausschwärmer has the edge. Where heavy vehicles get stuck, the rausschwärmer remains mobile. It can be used to find a pitch in complete seclusion.
Stealth camping or camouflaged wild camping works much better with the rausschwärmer than with a caravan or motorhome, which is easily recognisable as such. It is very useful here that the trailer is often mistaken for a horse trailer. Hardly anyone is bothered if a horse trailer is parked somewhere overnight. After all, the noble horses need their rest.
Apart from that, the rausschwärmer is of course not a horse trailer, never was one and is also not a converted one. Everything was designed, drawn and produced from scratch. Even the chassis of the customisable vehicle is manufactured in our factory.
...and in winter ? A versatile caravan
What if I want to go camping in winter? Hmm. Can I insulate the trailer? Maybe, but we don’t want to! Insulation can also have disadvantages, especially in summer, when you just can’t get the fucking heat out of the camper in the evening. Sleeping in the heat is not necessarily fun. That’s never a problem with an outward-facing caravan. Open the flaps, heat out. Or simply unbutton the roof a little, even more effective. If it’s a bit chilly in the morning with the first coffee, simply switch on the oversized parking heater.
So the rausschwämmet is not a winter camping vehicle, but in the mild and warm season it is more comfortable than anything that is insulated and comes with a built-in air conditioning system. Apart from that, the versatile trailer can also be used as a transport trailer, promotion vehicle, food trailer, espresso bar, wine bar and God knows what else in warm and cold times. We are constantly surprised by new ideas from our customers. A shepherd’s wagon would certainly also be a good option. The shepherd has a place to sleep and the sheep can also be transported in it.
Multifunctional caravan
If equipped with the extras of a mobile photovoltaic system and 4KW diesel heating, you are also self-sufficient and can enjoy the unspoilt natural surroundings to the full, independent of any power supply. Hammocks can be attached to special points in the interior or the space can be used for additional camp beds. In addition, the aluminium body of the rausschwärmer offers unlimited possibilities for personalisation, so you can create a multifunctional caravan that is uniquely yours. You have the opportunity to try out this multi purpose somewhat different caravan at the test site in southern Styria, Austria. If you are more interested in the technical construction or production, a tour of the factory can also be organised. However, you must book in advance for this.
